Reporting to the Region Vice President, the VP of Human Resources will be responsible for providing overall strategic HR leadership to the Oregon Region, including strategy across the Region, coordination of strategies and tactics across the markets, oversight of initiatives and operations in the field, planning, budgeting and measurement of results. The Vice President of Human Resources will be tasked with taking what we've already developed and building on it to make Comcast an employer of choice.
Responsibilities:
• Lead the development and implementation of human resources policies, programs and practices for the region: including employment, labor relations, compensation, organizational development and employee services.
• Coach and mentor the existing teams of HR and recruiting professionals.
• Project strong leadership skills with a high degree of influence and persuasion to direct, inspire and develop a high performing team of human resource professionals in multiple locations to superior levels of accomplishment.
• Provide guidance and support at all management levels to ensure consistent and sound human resources management and adherence to Corporate and Division policy, state, federal and local laws as well as earn credibility; exercise sound judgment; communicate rationale for decision making or recommendations to multiple stakeholders.

| Requirements |
Required Skills:
• Proven track record of innovative HR management, preferably in a high-tech environment
• Ability to lead/inspire an organization toward developing mutually rewarding relationships with customers and clients
• An entrepreneurial spirit and able to excel in a team environment to produce outstanding results
• Ability to serve as a strategic business partner and advisor to senior executives with a solid track record of achievement
• Strong leadership skills with an ability to lead by example in terms of creating an exciting environment for employees and the company to ensure collective success
• Ability to function as an internal coach to management, peers and others by helping them identify and resolve issues, encouraging excellent management practices, anticipating internal organization issues, proposing solutions and representing the employee perspective
• Minimum 10-15 years’ progressive experience in HR management, 5 years as a leading HR professional (Manager level and above)
• Excellent written and verbal communications, team building skills, consensus building skills
